 Telecommunications Object Thesaurus Hierarchy

Preferred terms appear in the hierarchical structure. The broadest term in each hierarchy is identified as the Top Term. Beneath each Top Term preferred terms within each conceptual group are ordered into levels going from the broadest, most general type of term to the narrowest and most specific type of term. All child terms are a ‘kind of’ the parent term.
