My BT life

I joined BT in 1976 as an apprentice. It has dramatically changed my life.

Who would have thought a Telephone Engineer Apprentice (with just O and A levels) would one day become the Solution Design Authority for BT's ATM (MSiP) Platform, being responsible for the sign-off designs for the transport of BT's Broadband and IP Traffic !! And being at the leading edge of technology driving the most dynamic 'Communications Company' in the world !!

If it weren't for the technology and expertise of my colleagues I wouldn't be able to sit at home and type this article. 30 years ago that was impossible, what will the next 30 years bring ??? Working from MARS or beyond ??
