Welcome to Connected Earth's secondary Communications and Museum projects for 11-16 year olds.

The communications project explores industrialisation and communication via a concise history of the key events in telecommunications developments over the years.

The museum project is specifically designed to complement and support a visit to the Connected Earth gallery at Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre, Sussex, England.

Industrialisation and communication
Communications: For 11-14 year olds. A concise history of the key events in telecommunication developments over the years. Exercises encourage thought about the way things used to be, and how technology has changed.
Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre
Museum: For 11-16 year olds. Activities relating to the story of communications and the displays at Amberley. They can be used before, during and after a visit to the Museum, supporting and reinforcing learning in the context of a visit. Or they can be used without visiting at all.
