We had a call from the Royal Yacht Britannia which was just off the North Cape at Scotland and I was the control. Now the next person I spoke to was the Queen Mother and the Queen Mother said 'Oh can I speak to my daughter please?' and I said 'I'm sorry ma'am but I'm not the operator, I will get you the operator now'. So I got the operator through and she got the Queen Mother fixed up with the Queen and they had their conversation and half way through the circuit from the Britannia deteriorated so I had to tell the Queen to go off the line so I could get the circuit back and put them back together again.
