National Museums of Scotland
NMS, Scotland's national museum service, cares for many of Scotland's museum collections of national and international importance, and presenting these to the public at six sites across Scotland. NMS preserves, interprets and make accessible for all, the past and present of Scotland, of other nations and cultures, and of the natural world.
Communicate! is an exciting new gallery within NMS' flagship museum in Edinburgh - The Royal Museum. The gallery combines stunning displays with interactive exhibits. It tells the story of human communication - from the drums of Papua New Guinea to Scottish pioneer Alexander Graham Bell - inventor of the telephone - right up to mobile technology and beyond.
