Museum of London
The Museum of London is the largest, most comprehensive city museum in the world, telling the intriguing story of London from prehistoric times to the present day.
As part of the BT vision for a distributed national telecommunications heritage collection, the emphasis will be to represent the role of communications in London. The collection will be interpreted within an urban history context underlining the critical importance of communications for London and its people.
Currently, some donations from the BT collection can be seen in the museum's major new World City gallery which tells the story of London from 1789 to 1914. Further items will form part of the museum's new 20th century gallery, due to open in 2009.
